What is Lichen ? Lichen isn't a single organism; it's a complex partnership, a symbiosis, between a fungus and an alga. The fungus provides structure, protection, and absorbs water and nutrients. The alga performs photosynthesis, producing food for the fungus. There's many different types of lichen including crust-like, growing tightly adhered to surfaces. Leaf-like, with distinct lobes & Shrub-like, branching structures.

 In essence, lichens symbolise relationships and the resilience of life. Their ability to thrive in diverse and challenging environments makes them truly remarkable. They're also a good air quality indicator as they're sensitive to air pollution  a sign of a healthy forest!

• Crystal-Clear Resin (non-toxic)

• Sterling Silver ring band (Size 8 or P 1/2)
• circle centrepiece size: 10mm diameter
